Ellen Adarna provokes fans, bashers with FHM butt shot on Instagram

Ellen Adarna is back this month for a third go-round as cover girl for FHM Philppines magazine. And boy, does she know how to make it count. The 28-year-old Cebuana actress makes a strong case for reclaiming lost glory after falling out of the Top 10 in the coveted FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women this year. After peaking at No. 3 in 2015, Ellen dropped out of the Top 10 this year, placing No. 11 in the annual poll. But if her latest FHM “naughty by nature” cover shoot snapped by ace lensman Mark Nicdao is any indication, there’s no other place to go for Ellen but up. A return to the Top 10 and even beyond is certainly not far fetched. “Because of our cover girl’s stunning physique and bold personality, we were compelled to release two versions of her cover,” writes Anton Umali for the teaser piece announcing the cover issue. “In the first, she is wrapped in vines, embodying the essence of Mother Nature—a strong woman very much in control. In the second, she stands amid tempestuous waves, glowing as she basks in the glorious light of the sunset.” The shoot is easily the most provocative for the magazine this year, when FHM seriously toned down its content, eschewing nudity and humor for artsy pictorials and thoughtful articles. Ellen, who stars in the upcoming romantic drama “Moonlight Over Baler,” posted her own teasers on her Instagram page, including a photo of her bare, sand-flecked derrière with a blunt message to fans and haters alike. “Kiver! Kiber! The only photo i will upload sa inside pages of FHM’s December Issue just because its my favorite shot (behind the scenes na ang iba/bloopers). IG might take this down but, Bahala na si batman #YOLO and to ya’ll hatin, do yourself a favor you can block me or you can just kiss my flat ass and save yourself from all the negativity,” she wrote. Before that post, she shared a photo of herself that shows her in an unconscious state after she fainted during the early part of the shoot.
